Knack Showcases Leadership in Revenue Cycle Management at National Policy Meetings in Washington, D.C.

Knack is proud to announce its participation in the HBMA Advocacy event in Washington, D.C., on July 28-29, a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) on a national stage. Representing Knack at this event is William Bloom CPC CPB, Senior Coding Manager, who will meet with key decision-makers at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and on Capitol Hill.
This advocacy event offers a rare platform for RCM professionals to engage directly with federal policymakers—an opportunity that few in the industry experience. Discussions will center on critical healthcare legislation and policies that impact providers, patients, and the financial health of the industry.
“Our presence in these conversations underscores Knack’s commitment to leadership and advocacy in the RCM space,” said Bloom. “Most professionals never get this level of access to influence policy, and we’re proud to represent the voice of our clients and partners in such an important forum.”
The trip will include meetings at the U.S. Capitol Building, featuring sessions with officials from both the House and Senate. One of the key areas of discussion will center on potential improvements to the No Surprises Act (NSA) and the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process. Drawing on extensive experience navigating these requirements and securing favorable outcomes for out-of-network providers, Knack will offer valuable, real-world perspectives to help inform policy decisions that impact providers and patients alike.
“These issues are complex and deeply relevant to the work we do every day,” Bloom added. “Our ability to share real-world perspectives and advocate for practical improvements to current legislation positions Knack at the forefront of policy, innovation, and client advocacy.”
Knack’s participation in these meetings reflects its mission to not only deliver exceptional revenue cycle outcomes but also actively shape the regulatory environment that impacts providers and patients nationwide.
